Merchandise Return Policy and Warranty Policy

The Merchandise Return Policy and the Guarantee Policy is defined in accordance with the procedures of GIOVANNI LÓPEZ E HIJOS S.A.S (hereinafter GIOVANNI LÓPEZ) and is intended to determine the general provisions for the return, exchange and guarantee of merchandise.

Procedure and terms of Return of Merchandise

The products purchased in GIOVANNI LÓPEZ have a return policy of five (5) days, in this case GIOVANNI LÓPEZ will evaluate the product, which may not be damaged or / and deteriorated by actions of the client, it must be unused, without wear, no dirt on the labels and must have original accessories and packaging.

If the product has a factory defect, an exchange will be made for an equal product in perfect condition, if the product is out of stock, a purchase voucher will be generated for the value paid or, ultimately, a refund of the money will be made.

To make the return effective, the customer must send an email to giolopez@giovannilopez, there a Return Authorization Number will be generated, the customer must return the product indicating the return authorization number and the number of the purchase invoice, directly to GIOVANNI LÓPEZ to continue the process. No returns will be accepted without prior authorization.

Returns must be sent by prepaid mail (returns will not be accepted for payment at destination) to GIOVANNI LÓPEZ Carrera 7B BIS # 123 – 22 Bogotá -Colombia.

Returned products must be received within ten (10) days following the return authorization date, otherwise management fees may be charged.

To avoid damage during shipping, the customer must check that the product has been carefully packaged (it is necessary to return it with the original packing box) and verify that all the elements are included, even if the box has been opened.

Products received in damaged or / and deteriorated condition may not be accepted for return or exchange at the discretion of GIOVANNI LÓPEZ.

Retraction

When making the purchase through the website giovannilopez.com, the customer will have the possibility of withdrawal within five (5) business days following the date of purchase. In this case, the client must send an email to giolopez@giovannilopez.com, notifying the request. The product may not be damaged or / and deteriorated, it must have original accessories and packaging.

In the event that the product does not have the optimal conditions in which it was delivered to the client, GIOVANNI LÓPEZ will evaluate and report on the origin or not of the Retraction.

Products received in damaged or / and deteriorated condition may receive a partial refund, at the discretion of GIOVANNI LÓPEZ.

The refund of the money will be made within fifteen (15) business days, the period necessary to inspect the product and credit the funds. If the product was paid by credit card and the reimbursement method is reversion to the card, the reversion times may vary, since it depends directly on the bank. The bank reversal only applies to refunds on the entire order.

The reimbursement does not include shipping costs for the product and may include applicable fees to be paid by the customer, if any.

GIOVANNI LÓPEZ does not accept any responsibility for theft, delay, shipping errors or damage to the product during shipping. It is recommended that the customer (1) use a shipping company that has a tracking system for returns and (2) purchase insurance for their package for a safe return, so that it is fully protected if the package is lost or it is damaged during shipping. It is important to bear in mind that if these recommendations are not followed, the customer will be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur during the shipment of the product.

If the customer has bought a product from GIOVANNI LÓPEZ or any of its represented brands, in a place other than GIOVANNI LÓPEZ, they should contact the store or the site where they purchased it to find out the details about their return policy.

Warranty Procedure and Terms

GIOVANNI LÓPEZ guarantees its products, according to the product line, as long as they are manufacturing defects and / or quality deficiencies and it is not suitable for the use for which it is intended.

General conditions:

The product warranty must be in force.

You must have the purchase invoice.

The damage to the product must be due to a manufacturing defect, technical fault or irregularity. The warranty will not apply if the product shows signs of misuse by the customer.

To make the guarantee effective, the client must send an email message to giolopez@giovannilopez, there a Guarantee Authorization Number will be generated, the client must return the product indicating the guarantee authorization number and the number of the purchase invoice, directly to GIOVANNI LÓPEZ to continue the process. No guarantee can be generated without prior authorization.

GIOVANNI LÓPEZ has the power to replace, repair or refund the money for the product. In the event that the product must be replaced by another of the same or the same characteristics, GIOVANNI LÓPEZ will proceed to replace it within ten (10) following business days, after receipt of the product by the customer.

The repair will be carried out within the following fifteen (15) business days, counted from the day following the delivery of the product by the customer.

In the event that the product cannot be repaired or the failure is repeated, GIOVANNI LÓPEZ will proceed to inform the customer of his decision on how to make the guarantee effective, either with the exchange of the product for another of the same characteristics or with the return of money.

The refund of the money will be made within the following fifteen (15) business days, the period necessary to verify the product warranty and credit the funds. If the product was paid by credit card and the reimbursement method is reversion to the card, the reversion times may vary, since it depends directly on the bank. The bank reversal only applies to refunds on the entire order.

Products returned by the customer after the warranty period has expired will not be returned, unless the customer requests it and agrees to pay the shipping costs.

GIOVANNI LÓPEZ reserves the right to unilaterally modify its Merchandise Return Policy. Any changes will be posted and announced.
